HR411.com wins 2008 VBrick Internet Company of the Year Award

HR411.com has received the 2nd annual Connecticut Technology Council’s Innovation Pipeline “Internet Company of the Year” Award for their web-based human resources support and information portal, HR411.com.

This award is given to just one young Connecticut based emerging-technology company with an innovative product or service and the potential to drive business and grow quickly.

All small businesses in Connecticut were eligible for this award. Over 300 companies were nominated, and those that demonstrated the most significant achievement or distinction in the areas of technology innovation were eligible for one of only 16 unique awards, including the Internet Company of the Year Award. HR411.com prevailed over hundreds of other emerging-technology companies.

“It is a tremendous honor to be chosen as the Internet Company of the Year. I am so proud of our great team for making the commitment to making HR411 a success. Connecticut is a great place to grow a business and we are pleased to be recognized by the business community for our quality solutions. We look forward to being part of the continued growth in the state and supporting small businesses across the country.” —Michael J. Pires, President, HR411.com

Award winners are chosen through a nomination and judging process that engages dozens of global and local leaders in technology and business such as Pitney Bowes, General Electric (GE), United Technology Corporation (UTC) and Open Solutions, among many others.

“To have such great business and technology leaders recognize our potential and contribution to the small business community is an honor in and of itself,” said Pires
