Preparing for OFCCP Compliance

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) released major revisions to regulations relating to the laws requiring federal contractors and subcontractors to engage in affirmative action for disabled individuals and veterans.

These revised regulations - the Rehabilitation Act and the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) – have been called "game-changing" – largely because they impose on contractors for the first time an obligation to analyze data concerning their hiring and promotion of disabled individuals and veterans, identify problem areas, and take action-oriented steps to address any problems. This following prerecorded webinar will provide an overview of these revisions.

An Overview of the New Vets & Disabled Regulations

This webinar provides practical new material designed to provide a one-stop guide for implementing the new regulations and related requirements. The webinar includes key "take-away" task lists for HR practitioners. Contractors will be given practical advice in how to comply with the new regulatory requirements. As the March 24 effective date for the new regulations quickly approaches, it is critical that contractors are able to stay on top of the most recent information on the regulations that OFCCP is providing, including the latest on the government-mandated forms that must be used when asking individuals to identify whether they have disabilities.
