Attendance Plan Code Table
Maximum Available
This is the the maximum hours or days employees can have available for this attendance plan. Time available equals Carryover + Time Accrued - Time Taken. Once this maximum number is reached, the system stops accruing time.
For example, if you enter 240 (hours), the system stops accruing when the employee’s available time reaches 240 hours. The system does not start accruing hours again until the employee takes some time off that is credited to the plan.
Maximum Carryover Per Year
If there is no maximum enter 9999. If no units can be carried over, enter 0. This field represents the maximum additional number of hours that can be carried into the next plan year, not counting the previous year’s carryover.
For example, an employee has 40 available hours in 2002 and gains an additional 60 hours in 2003. If the maximum carryover per year is 40, the employee will carryover only 80 into 2004.
If your employer has no maximum, enter 9999. If your employer does not permit carryover hours, set this value to 0.
Maximum Total Carryover
This is the Maximum number of hours and employee can carryover into the next plan year.
For example, an employee has 40 available hours in 2002 and gains an additional 60 hours in 2003. If the maximum total carryover is 40, the employee will carryover only 40 hours into 2004.
If your employer has no maximum, enter 99999. If your employer does not permit carryover hours, set this value to 0.
