Audit Function
Abra HRMS provides an Audit function to track changes that users make to employee records. In addition to serving as a useful tool for verifying input, the Audit function adds credibility to the task of maintaining employee data that outside auditors are often looking for.
The ability to turn on or turn off the Audit function is located in the Enterprise Setup panel (System, Rules). Note: you can actually indicate field by field what you want Abra to track for audit purposes. System reports will then show you the previous value, the user that made the change as well as the date and time.
CAUTION! The Audit function when turned on writes continuously to a separate database. It is critical that you put into place a procedure to print the necessary reports and Delete Audit Trail Records (System, Processes) periodically, to avoid having an oversized database that could affect the performance of your Abra system.
