This interface allows users to use Sage Abra to do the complicated benefit and deduction calculations that is a huge strongpoint of the Sage Abra Human Resource Product. It also significantly increases employee efficiency through the elimination of redundant data entry, and significantly reduces time necessary for payroll processing. With the Web Time entry feature of this interface, we also reduce the time that is required to manually enter the hours worked, and the time necessary to validate employee calculations on manual timesheets. This is a full featured interface that brings all demographic information out of Sage Abra HRMS, including benefit accruals, into a “workspace” that combines that imformation with other payroll attributes stored in Sage MIP. Sage Abra Payroll to MIP General Ledger Interface
This interface brings users the ability to charge benefits at the time payroll is transferred to the Sage MIP Fund Accounting product, and to electronically bring other payroll information out of Sage Abra Payroll into the Sage MIP Fund Accounting. The interface brings into the arena the compliance with the OMB Circulars with regard to grant funds by easily charging benefits earned by employees to the same grants or departments that their wages are charged, and in the same proportion. The product does both prior period and forward accruals in Sage MIP so as to allow accurate reporting of both wages and benefits into the period earned.
